As many of you're already well aware, I have lived with type 1 Diabetes for the majority of my life, in fact next year will be my 20th year of living with type 1. I'm not going to lie, this disease sucks and by fundraising into JDRF scientific research and treatment options, I am doing a skydive (drastic measures I know, but you only live once) in the hope that you will donate to this great organization, so that they can continue their amazing work into finding a cure for type 1.
I was diagnosed as a 9 year old and consider myself lucky to be here. Over the years I have used multiple treatment options and am currently on an insulin pump.
I like to do my bit to help raise awareness about the disease, but also to raise funds to turn type 1 into type none. I have a few options of when I can do my jump in either March or April and this will be my first time.
Thank you for your support :)
